5 ways to close more deals in HubSpot
1) Set up reminders and tasks for cold deals
Depending on the size of your organisation, your sales reps are likely managing prospecting and closing deals.
It’s inevitable that deals will go cold at some stage and the reps will have to follow-up and chase stakeholders to keep it moving.
Within HubSpot, you should have automated workflows that set tasks to sales reps to follow up with cold deals. This can be done by either using the activity property or the time spent in a pipeline stage.
2) Map out the pipeline
One of the highest leverage tasks you can do as a business is to map out your buyer’s journey.
You should have your pipeline mapped out in a visual tool like Miro or LucidChart that your entire team has access to.
This means that everyone knows what needs to happen at each stage, and what automation happens in the background.
3) Use playbooks to standardise your process
Standardising your sales process means that prospects get a similar experience no matter where they are or who they speak to. This also allows you get a lot more data on what parts of the process work well, and what parts need improving.
Within HubSpot, you can use playbooks to help your reps to standardise how they run meetings. You can then use automated emails and tasks to standardise what and when prospects receive information.
4) Upload all your sales enablement assets to HubSpot
In-line with standardising your sales process, you can upload all of your sales enablement assets into HubSpot.
This means that all reps will have access to the latest version of documents as they can be updated globally.
5) Offer a session with an existing customer
This is not something that is a native functionality in HubSpot, but it’s still a highly powerful way to close more deals.
Take one of your customers who are in a similar industry and offer them an incentive to have a call or email conversation with the prospect. This works well as it builds a huge amount of trust with the prospect as they can hear the benefits of working with you from someone like them.
